For over three decades, ACT India Foundation has built multidisciplinary expertise in community development by integrating social justice, public health, environmental sustainability, and technology-driven solutions. We work at the intersection of tribal rights, gender justice, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), menstrual health, AI and digital literacy, climate action, environmental justice, sustainable cotton livelihoods, and circular economy approaches to create resilient and inclusive communities.

Our expertise extends to empowering women workers, adolescent girls, tribal communities, cotton farmers, and vulnerable populations through rights-based interventions, education, livelihood promotion, and institutional strengthening. We combine traditional knowledge with innovation by promoting AI-enabled learning, digital inclusion, sustainable agriculture, and climate-resilient livelihood models.

ACT India Foundation also has significant experience in science and technology education, astronomy education, disaster preparedness, and HAM radio communications, enabling communities, youth, and institutions to build scientific temper, emergency response capacities, and future-ready skills.

In addition, we possess strong expertise in the development, design, publication, and dissemination of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials, including training manuals, visual toolkits, posters, flipbooks, comics, behaviour change communication resources, digital learning content, and community awareness campaigns across health, gender, environment, WASH, climate action, and digital literacy themes.

Through research, partnerships, community mobilisation, evidence-based approaches, and strategic knowledge products, we design and implement scalable solutions that address interconnected social, environmental, and economic challenges.
