An awareness seminar on government welfare schemes for MNREGS workers and the Domestic Violence Act, 2013 was conducted by ACTIF Trust in the Ayyangottai Municipality area of Athur Municipality Union, Dindigul District. The program was presided over by Ayyangottai Municipal Council Vice President Mrs. Vasanthi, with Municipality Secretary Mr. Velmurugan leading the session. Project Industry Development Officer Mr. T. Chithrai Pandian explained key government schemes and their benefits. ACTIF Trust representatives spoke on the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act, women’s economic welfare programs, and health schemes. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Maheswari, encouraging community participation and local group formation.
