ACT India Foundation implements this program to strengthen the health, safety, and dignity of women working in the textile and garment industry. The initiative focuses on preventing gender-based violence, improving menstrual health and hygiene, and increasing awareness of sexual and reproductive health rights. The program supports women through workplace sensitization, strengthening Internal Complaints Committees, building community-level support groups, and conducting continuous awareness sessions. Skill-building, counselling, and leadership training help women gain confidence and economic stability. By empowering textile women and adolescent girls, the program ensures safer workplaces, stronger grievance redressal systems, and improved well-being across rural Dindigul communities.
