Gender Justice & Labour Rights for Apparel Workers
We work extensively with women workers in spinning mills and garment factories to promote fair labour practices and gender justice. The program educates women on workplace rights, safety standards, harassment prevention, and access to social security schemes such as EPF, ESI, and maternity benefits. Community committees and worker collectives are strengthened to support women facing exploitation, coercive labour, or discrimination. Special focus is given to vulnerable groups including migrant, Dalit, and tribal women. Through advocacy, legal awareness, leadership development, and community mobilisation, the program helps women workers raise their voices, claim their rights, and build safer and more equitable work environments.
