an awareness seminar was conducted at Devarappanpatti Panchayat in the Athur area of Dindigul District to educate women and the community on government welfare schemes and women-related laws, with special focus on the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act, 2013. The program was presided over by Devarappanpatti Municipal Council President Mrs. Revathi, with Vice President Mr. Prithiviraj and Secretary Mr. Manavalan leading the proceedings. Resource persons including health worker Mrs. Kamali, Women’s Project Coordinator Mrs. Stella, and Women’s Economic Plan Coordinator Mrs. Mahalakshmi explained women protection laws and available government schemes. ACTIF Trust Director Mr. P.R. Ashok Raja welcomed the gathering, and the seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Jayasudha, with active participation from municipal members and villagers.
